Job Summary:
Support the development and growth of our dealers and direct customer network. Support outside sales team when not available to answer our dealers/direct customers questions. Grow our parts sales program through our dealers. Manage all warranty claims for the organization. Ensure that dealers and customers can rely on you to answer their questions accurately. Work with the outside sales team to increase market share in all Pitts product offerings. Play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding business within our organization.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily activity in the sales office.
  • Manage the incoming calls to the caller’s satisfaction.
  • Provide back-up to our dealers/customers when their outside salesperson is not available.
  • Support outside sales teams’ internal needs when necessary.
  • Along with the outside sales team, be the “voice of the customer” for all departments, managing expectations on both sides (internal and external).
  • Effectively manage warranty claims to satisfactory conclusion.
  • Proactively grow our parts sales division.
  • Manage the sales and growth opportunities for parts sales through our dealers. Maintain an active project list that will allow you to meet or exceed annual sales goals.
  • Manage parts sales to our direct customers. Maintain an active project list that will allow you to meet or exceed annual sales goals.
  • Along with outside sales, responsible for developing and managing parts section of the annual dealer business plan with dealer principles.
  • Consult with dealers about advertising and promotion of Pitts parts.
  • Work with marketing to develop a value proposition to sell Pitts parts.
  • Using our CRM program, track all projects and communications from dealers, customers, and prospects.
  • Develop quotes for all potential opportunities and track in CRM. Manage the prospect’s expectations resulting in the close of business.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in trailer-related sales environment preferred.
  • Proven track record as a Customer Service Representative.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CRM is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Results-oriented drive and a solid work ethic.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and closing skills.
 
Salary Range

Salary will be commensurate with experience. In addition to a benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in ESOP program.
Job Summary:
Maintain/grow existing dealer partnerships and develop new dealer/customer business, meeting sales targets and ensuring efficient sales operations in the central United States territory. Work with marketing to evaluate new market opportunities for Forestry, Heavy Haul, and Intermodal. Play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding business within their assigned territory.
Meet or exceed growth plan expectations. Responsible for servicing and training dealers and customers. Manage all opportunities from inception to the close. Continue to increase market share in all Pitts product offerings. Ensure that dealers and customers can rely on you to answer their questions accurately, providing the right solution to their hauling needs. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage the sales and growth opportunities in areas responsible for.
  • Develop a plan that will allow you to capture additional market share in your area of responsibility.
  • Work with marketing to investigate potential new market opportunities for our products.
  • Maintain frequent communication with each of your assigned accounts.
  • Be the voice of the customer for all departments, managing expectations on both sides (internal and external).
  • Follow through with all sales inquiries supplied.
  • Develop and maintain an active project list that will allow you to meet or exceed annual sales goals.
  • Develop and manage an annual dealer business plan with dealer principles.
  • Develop strong partnership programs with all assigned dealers.
  • Train dealer staff on Pitts products and their use.
  • Conduct sales meetings with dealers, resulting in action plans that will lead to the closing of new business.
  • Consult with dealers about advertising and promotion of Pitts products.
  • Provide continuous feedback and updates on the progress of dealer/customer orders.
  • Understand the dealer/customer requirements to do business with and exceed their expectations.
  • Manage dealer network to support growth plan.
  • When appropriate, manage and grow our direct customer base in your area of reasonability.
  • Work with marketing to develop a value proposition to sell Pitts.
  • Using our CRM program, track all projects and communications from dealers, customers, and prospects.
  • Attend various trade shows to support featured Pitts products.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience in trailer related sales environment preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Territory Manager
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CRM is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Organizational and leadership ability.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Results-oriented drive and a solid work ethic.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills, executive presence, and judgment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50+% of the time, or as needed.
